Meet Captain Jamie Holcombe
For more than two decades, Captain Jamie Holcombe has worked exclusively as a professional captain and mate aboard luxury sportfishing boats. He has traveled from New England to Key West, to the Bahamas, Mexico, Bermuda and through the Panama Canal to the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Along the way, Captain Jamie learned many different fishing techniques and has fished with both novice anglers and top-notch, award-winning anglers. Captain Jamie has spent his entire life on the water, enjoying fishing trips with his father as a young boy. He knew early on in his life that his dream job would be running a successful fishing charter business. When Captain Jamie decided to follow his dream, he found the perfect boat to fit the niche of offering affordable fishing charters aboard a mid-size vessel.
Captain Jamie’s fishing expertise and friendly nature combined with the boat’s amenities offer a fishing charter set apart from the average fishing charter business – especially compared to the similarly priced competition in the Charleston market. A licensed boat captain by the United States Coast Guard, Captain Jamie carries a 150-ton master license. Not only is he experienced in the fishing aspect of his job, he also has extensive experience with the mechanics of a boat, as well as the tackle and supplies needed to run a successful operation.
Captain Jamie resides in Mount Pleasant with his wife Jessica and their three children, David, Hannah and Hudson. During the summer months, some charters may enjoy Jamie’s oldest son David helping out on the boat. David is a natural fisherman and thoroughly enjoys helping his dad by being his first-mate.
